Youth Groups
Moira Lakes is the perfect location for youth organisations looking for a safe, structured and genuinely exciting day out.
We work with Scouts, Guides, Boys’ Brigade, church groups, youth clubs and sports teams across Northern Ireland. Whether you’re planning a one-off activity night, an end-of-term reward, a summer trip or part of a residential camp, we can build something around your group.
We are just 5 minutes off the M1 motorway and offer a private, controlled site with qualified instructors and full safety briefings for every activity.
A Typical Adventure Visit
A standard visit usually runs between 1-3 hours and can include:
- Paddleboarding or kayaking on the lake
- Archery sessions
- Laser Tag outdoors
- Axe Throwing (age dependent)
- Team challenges and problem-solving games
All activities are instructor-led and include safety equipment, a full briefing and structured games – not just free time on the water.
For larger groups we can rotate activities in stations to keep everyone active and minimise downtime.
Flexible Packages
We don’t believe in rigid packages that don’t suit your group. Instead, we build sessions around:

- Group size
- Budget
- Time available
- Ability level

Pizza and Paddle - £24 per person
A relaxed and fun option that works brilliantly for youth groups.
Includes:
- 1 hour instructor-led paddleboarding or kayaking
- Half 12" freshly made pizza per person
- Dedicated seating area for your group
This works well as an evening reward session or end-of-term treat.
Water Session
- 1 hour paddleboarding or kayaking
- All equipment included
- Instructor-led games and challenges
Ideal for groups who just want to get on the water and stay active.
Multi-Activity Session
Combine two activities such as:
- Paddleboarding + Archery
- Laser Tag + Archery
- Paddleboarding + Team Challenges
Great for larger groups or those travelling further and wanting to make the most of the day. Pricing depends on duration and numbers – contact us for a tailored quote.
Full Adventure Day
For groups visiting for the day or camping on site.
Can include:
- Morning water session
- Afternoon land activity
- Optional catering
- Use of sheltered space for lunch
We can also coordinate with campsite bookings if you are staying overnight.
