10% deposit after approval · 7 days to pay · Balance due on checkout day
Our group campsite is designed for Scouts, Guides, youth and uniformed groups. Camping is in your own tents, with the leaders’ caravan available as an optional extra. Contact us if you’re unsure whether the site is right for your group.
Yes. You can request weekday stays as well as weekends. Choose the dates that suit your programme and we’ll check your request.
A submitted request holds the space for 72 hours while it is reviewed. After approval, we send a payment link for the standard 10% deposit. Pay it within seven days to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on your checkout day.
Request your preferred arrival and departure times when booking. We’ll confirm what works for your stay. The caravan needs four hours between bookings for turnaround.
Groups can share the campsite. The calendar shows the organisation, section and booking status of other groups, without displaying group names or contact details. For exclusive campsite use, choose that option when planning your stay. This includes the caravan, but does not stop separate activity bookings.
Lake access requires lifeguard supervision. Swimming and water activities must be arranged with our team. Group leaders remain responsible for supervising their young people throughout their stay.
Off-ground fires, BBQs and gas stoves are allowed in agreed areas, at least 10 metres from the wet-weather shelter. There is no cooking inside the shelter. Ask the team before setting up.
There is an accessible toilet at the café. Camping is on grass, so contact us before booking to discuss your group’s access needs. Moira Lakes is an alcohol-free site, with quiet hours from 10.30pm to 7am.
